Wedding Day
Basil Place· Chardon, Ohio
Dress Code
Formal
Dark suits and ties, floor-length gowns, or elegant midi dresses. We'll be on grass and gravel for part of the evening, so block heels, wedges, or dressy flats will serve you better than stilettos. May evenings in Chardon get cool — bring a jacket or wrap for after sunset.

The Locals
Meet the Residents
Basil Place is home to a family of rescued animals who may make an appearance — consider them part of the guest list.
The Alpacas
Rescued and unbothered. Expect a cameo at the reception.
White Peacocks
They were born for ceremony. No invitation required.
Pot-Bellied Pigs
Charismatic, opinionated, and very likely to steal your heart.
The Chickens
Early risers with strong feelings about the guest list.
The Grounds
The Estate
Fifty acres of manor, meadow, and water — three ponds, a century of trees, and a few four-legged hosts.
